Strong interlayer bonds and improved shelf life are characteristics of laminates made on a Comexi laminator that utilizes low-viscosity adhesives, the co notes. The solventless laminates eliminate concerns about the removal of retained solvents and volatiles associated with solvent laminations, and can improve adherence to environmental regulations and lower energy usage, the co. says.
