Laser coders

-- Packaging Digest, 2/1/2008 2:00:00 AM

The co. is extending its third-generation CO2 laser coders product line with the 7031S coder for marking PET. To meet the market demand for the use of PET in the mineral water and soft drinks industry, the vector laser coder has been designed with specific wave-length properties to guarantee legible contrast print is on PET bottles, regardless of the liquid inside. The product can mark up to 80,000 bottles/hr, it operates at high speeds, and it has a variation tolerance of ±10-mm between the print head and the bottles. The coder can also shorten product changeover times.
