TruCount® 100-percent count-accuracy verification system can now be retrofitted to existing Merrill® tablet and capsule counters. TruCount scans, evaluates and counts product before it enters the bottle and ensures 100-percent count accuracy, the co. reports. The system provides a fully integrated count-verification and reject feature that's reliable and easy to set up. The retrofit unit features a standalone control module with a 15-in. touchscreen monitor. The touchscreen provides recipe-driven menus to store product, slat spacing and count information and has an easy-to-use teaching function, making new product information quick to set up. The module is mounted on casters and can be positioned to an operator's preference.
