Kettle Bakes in a 23-g (0.08-oz) size are made with real potato slices and no cholesterol, monosodium glutamate or trans fat. Aimed as a grab-and-go snack for those who have resolved to eat better in 2008 without compromising on taste, the single-serving bag includes a hearty handful of 18 chips with 65-percent less fat than regular potato chips. Kettle Foods' manufacturing sites in Salem, Beloit, WI and Norwich, U.K. produce more than 20 flavors and four varieties of potato chips, five flavors of tortilla chips and a variety of nut butters and trail mixes. Produced by Printpack (www.printpack.com), the polyethylene film bag is reverse-flexo-printed in seven colors with a new look created by Michael Osborne Design (www.modsf.com). A clean, creamy yellow background supports the design's simple, straightforward appearance, including the brand logo in brown and a green 100-calorie icon and nutritional statement of fat, fiber, trans fat, and cholesterol content.
