Baldwin expands blending and packaging facility
Baldwin Technology Company, Inc. a leader in process automation technology for the global printing industry, has announced that it has expanded its Oxy-Dry Food Blends manufacturing facility in Addison, Illinois.
Production volume at Baldwin subsidiary Oxy-Dry Food Blends, Inc. has increased by close to 400% since moving into the Addison manufacturing location in 2000. During that period, the Company’s capabilities expanded from bulk blending to also include packing dry ingredients in composite cans, form-and-seal pouches and retail cartons.

Pat Geraghty Joins Digital Printing Media as
Vice President of VAR Sales and Marketing

Mr. Geraghty brings more than 20 years of experience working in sales and marketing management for bar code consumable companies. Hertzler Systems hosts free web seminar for professionals

MeadWestvaco Corp. announced that John A. Luke, Jr., chairman and chief executive officer, will present at the UBS Global Paper and Forest Products Conference on Wednesday, September 16, 2009, at 8:30 a.m. EDT. The conference will be held in New York City.

xpedx debuts two new presses and
LED-UV curing system at PRINT 09
The new RYOBI 1050, a fully automated 42-inch offset press makes its North American debut at PRINT 09 Chicago, Sept. 11-16. Also debuting is the newest generation of the high-demand RYOBI 750 series of six-up presses. xpedx is the master distributor of Ryobi-branded presses and peripherals in the U.S. and Canada.
xpedx (Booth 1221) will showcase the RYOBI 1050-6, a 42-3/4"x 30-3/4" fully automated eight-up, six-color press, as well as the enhanced version 31"x23" RYOBI 756G with LED-UV curing unit. Both presses will be demonstrated in a live print production environment.
