Pharmaceutical track-and-trace solution

-- Packaging Digest, 1/1/2008 2:00:00 AM

Developed from the ground up to be a fully integrated serialization and supply chain process automation product for SAP pharmaceutical customers to track activity from warehousing and distribution to the point of patient dispensation, PharmaTrak 2.0 serializes, automates and tracks intra and interenterprise movement and storage of finished goods through serialized barcodes and RFID tag labeling.

Aiming to help pharmaceutical manufacturers, co-manufacturers and distributors quickly and simply address looming state and federal mandates, PharmaTrak 2.0 offers pre-built case, pallet and shipment serialization, product movement and transfer automation; integration with third party EPCIS and ePedigree software and facilitation of RxASN and pedigree document generation; support for fixed mount and mobile devices; support for 21 CFR Part 11 validation; and out-of-the-box integration with third-party software for EPC number management, e.g., e-Pedigree software and ERP systems
