UV-cured ink

-- Packaging Digest, 7/1/2008 2:00:00 AM

A thermoformable, UV-cured ink system debuts as Rho TH Ink, allowing full forming, the co. claims, on styrene, acrylic and many other plastic materials commonly used in displays. Cited are highly challenging molds with 90-deg edges and more than 10-cm (4-in.) depth, showing exceptionally good results on a wide variety of thermoplastics. The co. says the ink is environmentally friendly.
