Sustainable Collating System

-- Packaging Digest, 2/4/2009 11:58:00 AM

Morrison Container Handling Solutions’ new container collating machine uses exclusive technology to collate containers one up, one down, back to front, in an alternating pattern resulting in a tight package, says the company. The system uses single lane in, double lane discharge in a compact design. According to the company, the machine uses less packaging material and produces packages that fit in a much more compact space. The system is said to allow a smaller physical and environmental footprint for containers, allowing savings in materials and space leads that lead to cost reductions, less waste, and greater production efficiencies.
