Photoluminescent plastics

New glow-in-the-dark photoluminescent plastics for rotational molding have been measured to glow for more than 32 hr. These plastics are light-stable and are designed for outdoor use. Potential applications include injection-molded Exit signs, buttons on electronic devices, cup holders and more. This product recharges itself, requires no maintenance, cannot be accidentally turned off, and uses no light bulbs, batteries or wiring. The plastics feature a light-stable formulation that is custom tailored for glow longevity and brilliance, the co. states.
