StabilOx® and SorbiCap® are offered as FDA-grade HDPE sorbent canisters directed at pharmaceutical industry requirements. The co. says StabilOx is virtually non-dusting to avert product contamination and helps resolve instability traced to oxidation and moisture-related degradation, while SorbiCap is said to be a non-toxic canister absorbing moisture and odors, as well as eliminating dusting and separation problems.

I was grinding up some sulfa tablets in my blender to put in my horse''''s feed as directed by my vet.
Without realizing that there was a sorbicap in the
bottle...I later discovered the little plastic canister, torn open and badly ripped apart, in the sulfa "powder". What chemical is in the sorbicap canister??? Do I need to discard the "whole works"??? My vet had no clue as to what was in the sorbicap and asked me to do some research for her before advising me. A quick reply would be appreciated!
