The ABS (Automatic Bar Seal) system is available as a standalone unit or integrated with a Pouchmaster and Poucher Series. The PLC-controlled system provides repeatable, Sigma 3 heat seals that can be validated and calibrated. It is governed by alarm limits and the system defaults to “cycle hold” in an alarm condition. The pouches are held in place until the alarm has been corrected and reset, which eliminates inspection.
