'Balmshell' of a smear campaign

Balmshell smears

Direct from Canada, lip and cheek gel “smears” called Balmshell can be applied effortlessly and they set perfectly, according to the manufacturer. They give cheeks a bright glow and lips a sultry stain. The smears are applied using a sponge applicator wand that blend the tints without staining hands. The cosmetics are formulated with white tea extract, chamomile and rose water, and are available in a shade called Gossip Greta.

Balmshell smears are packed in an attention-getting, injection-molded, flexo-printed tube with a foam-tipped applicator. The top end of the tube contains 4 g of product. The reverse end reveals a stubby applicator used for smoothing and blending the color. The tube and instructions are placed in an offset-printed, white-lined carton with a hand-locking base and a tied top.
