Packaging design: Custom bottle helps Boots freshen up

A stylish custom-manufactured bottle supplied by RPC Containers Llantrisant (www.rpc-llantrisant.co.uk) has refreshed the Boots Therapy Bath foam bath product line. Blow-molded in clear PET, the 500 ml bottle aims to convey a luxurious brand image with its sensuous curves. The transparency of the bottle and its labeling enables consumers to easily view the colored liquid product inside, thus visually communicating impressions of relaxing bath experiences.

“We feel that the exceptional quality of Boots Therapy Bath deserves a new look that better reflects the range’s style and sophistication,” explains Craig Davids, packaging technologist at Boots. “RPC Llantrisant has brought its practical and esthetic expertise to deliver a solution that meets our high expectations for the brand.”

The refreshed Boots Therapy Bath line is available in four fragrances that are named for each fragrances’ specific therapeutic benefits: relaxing, muscle soak, stress relief and moisture rich.
