Packaging equipment: Form/fill/seal

-- Packaging Digest, 7/1/2010 10:53:00 AM

Prodo-Pak
The new Model H-130 is an economical intermittent motion, variable speed machine designed for producing three or four sided seal pouches. Pouch sizes can be adjusted from a minimum size of 1.5- by 1.5-in. to a maximum of 5.0- by 5.25-in. The standard machine is capable of producing up to 110-ppm, but a twin or duplex conversion doubles this output. Liquids, pastes, powders and granular products can be packaged by selecting the piston pumps, servo driven augers or volumetric adjustable cup product dosing units. Special counters for pills, tablets and small parts, as well as a towelette folding and cutting unit can be adapted to the machine. The machine is completely automated and compact in design, occupying less than 12-sq-ft of floor space.
