AMERIPEN's just-announced Executive Director Joan Pierce will be speaking at the 6th annual Sustainability in Packaging conference, March 12-14 in Orlando, FL. This will be one of Pierce's first public presentations in this new role, which will involve working closely with AMERIPEN's Executive Committee to deliver against the group's priorities and goals, and accelerate existing work streams and overall progress; Pierce had served as AMERIPEN's first president until November 2011 following her retirement from Colgate-Palmolive.
Other noteworthy additions to the 2012 program include Catherine Goodall, Project Director for EPI, who will present on The Future 500 Approach to EPR as part of the Evaluating EPR and Voluntary Producer Responsibility Case Studies session, plus Laura Rowell, Global Sustainable Packaging Manager Consumer Products, Sonoco Packaging, will provide us with the EPR Perspective from AMERIPEN.
