‘Green' PET resin for bottles

Artenius Elite recycled-content PET from LSBArtenius Elite is a new PET-based packaging material combines virgin PET resin and post-consumer recycled PET as feedstock in the resin production process. According to the company, the resulting replaces conventional non-renewable petrochemical raw materials with recycled material, saving natural resources and reducing the carbon footprint; characteristics include a high degree of sustainability, strength, flexibility of use and food-safe performance. The material is suitable for a wide range of beverages, including still and carbonated water, and soft drinks; also, it can be stretch blow-molded in one- and two-stage processes.
