Posted by Jenni Spinner, Senior Editor -- Packaging Digest, 2/1/2012 4:35:00 PM

Henri Lloyd deodorantWith the number of personal care products for men increasing, brand owners must offer products that stand out by appealing to both the male shopper's masculine side, and his desire to pamper himself. Henri Lloyd originated nearly 50 years ago as a line of sailing accessories and clothing, and it recently launched the personal care items to match that image.

The latest item, Ocean Mineral Performance Deodorant, contains moisturizing sea moss and anti-bacterial glides, and comes in a stick with manly appeal. The container, designed by Liquidrock is manufactured by packaging supplier Quadpack in partnership with contract filler Universal Products Ltd. The imaging involves two silk-screen prints on the body, one silk-screen print on the rim of the cap and pearl color-matched components.
