Design innovation takes center stage at conference

Held September 25-26, 2012 in the packaging hub of Chicago, this unique two-day conference will join the perspectives of packaging designers, manufacturers, and engineers in a noble effort to provide the industry with the best possible tools to effectively translate design concepts into manufacturing solutions.

 

Packaging Design conference will look at the entire life-cycle of packaging development from concept and structure to manufacture and distribution. "At Packaging Design 2012, we aim to pinpoint how great designs and branding can be translated into packaging that meets production and cost goals, too," says John Kalkowski, Editorial Director of Packaging Digest. Voron will kick off the conference at 9:00am, September 25, 2012 with a discussion on global trends and strategies in packaging design, how to incorporate packaging design into overall brand strategy, and how to promote creative teams and working environments.

 

Other focused presentations and case studies will be delivered by notable speakers including Jeff Loth from Microsoft, Garry Kohl from Frito-Lay, Mark Dressel from MillerCoors, Robert Croft from Swerve, Joe Schurtz from Perception Research Services, Sal Pellingra from Ampac, Oliver Campbell at Dell, John McComb from Campbell's Soup Company, to name a few.
