After-party recovery shot wins award

Posted by Jenni Spinner, Senior Editor -- Packaging Digest, 9/18/2012 10:31:00 AM

Hangover JoeConvenience Store News has named Hangover Joe's Recovery Energy Product (OTC, HJOE) as the Best New Product (Energy Product) in their 16th annual competition. The award will be formally announced next month at the NACS show in Las Vegas. CSN's Best New Products Awards are chosen by a consumer panel administered by New York-based research firm Past Times Marketing.

"This is an incredible recognition," said Shawn Adamson who co-founded Hangover Joe's with Michael Jaynes. "We're very new to the market, and this acknowledgment underscores our ascension as the #1-selling recovery product in the country."

Jaynes responded, "We've learned from our vendors that more and more customers are purchasing Hangover Joe's for the boost of energy they enjoy along with the pleasing berry blast flavor. We're pleased that people are finding out that the product re-energizes them - in addition to relieving recovery."

Hangover Joe's Get Up & Go is a scientifically formulated 2-ounce shot that combines caffeine (about as much as one cup of coffee), select amino acids, antioxidants, B vitamins and herbs specially engineered for maximum hangover relief results. "We're excited to be part of the NACS show next month, and eager to share our product with anyone who hasn't had the Hangover Joe's Get Up & Go experience," added Adamson. "We're truly grateful for this award."
