The long performance lifetime of the product reportedly can help reduce the volume of label substrate used, and can reduce ink usage, provide fewer transport movements and lower energy consumption. At the end of a bottle's use, MultiCycle labels can be processed similar to other filmic self-adhesive labels. There is no need for heavy metals in the inks, allowing glass bottles to be recycled via standard processes.
