The expanded AUTOSERT family of hot melt glue outsert applicators can be configured to apply side-serts or top-serts. The 277 Sidesert and 277 Topsert feature a new rotating three-arm pick-and-place system and hot melt glue adhesion, and can apply the widest range of outsert sizes, including double and triple outserts. The 277 SIDESERT applies outserts from 0.125- to 1.5-in. (3- to 38-mm) thick, and the 277 TOPSERT handles outserts from 0.125- to 0.75-in. (3- to 19-mm) thick, and can achieve line speeds of up to 280 containers per minute. The machines are 25 percent faster than the first generation of Autosert introduced in 2011, and can be integrated with any new or installed third-party conveyor.
