Counting system

-- Packaging Digest, 10/1/2006

The Batchmaster® III multichannel/multihead counting system is suitable for use wherever high-output, high-speed counting with accuracy is a must, the co. notes. The BMIII is up to three times as fast as the Batchmaster II and improves count accuracy with its high-resolution scanning. Detects and rejects parts one-third smaller or larger than a target part. A two-gate parts-processing unit lets the feeder bowl run continuously. As one batch discharges, another accumulates for higher output. The batch-rejection unit allows batches with out-of-tolerance parts to be rejected prior to packaging. Processes parts from a 1/16 -in. ball to a 4 x 1-in. block.
