Robotic bundler

-- Packaging Digest, 9/1/2006

The ROKH™ is an all-in-one system that uses a robotic arm to pick products from an infeed conveyor and place them directly onto a shrink film for bundling. In intermittent or continuous modes, the system is reportedly rated to 120 bundles/min, using one conveyor to transport product through the sealing and shrinking process. Products reportedly can be split, stacked, rotated and collated into virtually any desired configuration, with interchangeable grippers providing versatility to pick up products of various shapes and sizes.
