With new Dura-Vue™ Series color sensors, it's possible to teach a single sensor to recognize three independent colors, the co. says. Programming reportedly is done by a simple potentiometer setting at the sensor or by a remote teach signal from a PLC. The co. sees the sensor as being ideal for sorting and positioning and for quality control applications.
