The In-Sight^® 5400R is a remote-head camera vision sensor said to be ideal for applications where mounting space is limited or where a lightweight camera is required. About the size of a C-cell battery and weighing less than 2.5 oz, the sensor comes with a processor that can be mounted up to 49 ft away, connected by cable. Meeting IEC specs for shock and vibration and achieving an IP67 (NEMA 6) rating to withstand dust and washdown, the sensor is said to be ideal for moving applications mounted on the end of a robot arm, on a gantry or on a positioning stage.
