A new system for order fulfillment automates e-commerce shipping and is said to drastically reduce the manual labor and material involved in packing, labeling, shipping and tracking products. The integrated system offers a single-source solution involving packaging equipment and software communicating with the mainframe to track the customer's order in-process and communicate its status to the controlling unit. All materials, including box/tray erectors, unique packing slip printing and insert equipment, scanners and leaflet inserters, are integrated into the system.
