Water-soluble film

-- Packaging Digest, 1/1/2006

M-8900 is a new, copolymer-based polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) water-soluble film that is suitable for a range of products, including highly acidic and alkaline chemicals. Specifically developed for compatibility with low-pH products, the film widens chemical compatibility, allowing a diverse range of products to be packed in unit doses. It also offers stability with compounds containing boron. M-8900 is available in thicknesses ranging from 1.5 to 3 mil. Specific applications include sulfamic acid, sodium bisulfate, potassium phosphate monobasic, sodium tetraborate and more.
