McCormick launches clever four-in-one pack for Tabletop Spices

-- Packaging Digest, 9/1/2007

Now here's a smart idea: To put consumers' favorite, everyday seasonings on the table in a convenient, four-in-one package. With new McCormick Tabletop Spices, introduced at this year's Food Marketing Institute show, great flavor is just a shake away. Two varieties—traditional and Italian—offer everyone a chance to give mealtime a personal touch. Beef, seafood, chicken, pork, salads, pizza, pasta, eggs—most any dish, can benefit from a little spicing up. Attractively packaged in a compartmented jar, the spices bring flavor, without clutter, to the table. The traditional variety has the flavor basics in a single package, with individual shaker tops for sea salt, black pepper, garlic salt and an Italian seasoning blend that includes basil, oregano and more. Italian collects everyone's favorite Mediterranean herbs and spices of oregano, sweet basil, garlic powder and crushed red pepper. They retail for $3.99.
