Express network motion expansions join the co.'s line of motion-control products, reportedly to offer highly accurate use of multi-axes positioning using high-speed 100-Mbps communication. The co. says RTEX, available in 2-, 4- and 8-axes models, with expansions along with the new A4N Minas A4 network servo drives, offers a complete motion solution for the FP Sigma and FP2 PLC. The co. also says that the easy-to-use and low-cost wiring employs commercially available Ethernet cables to create a simple connection between the RTEX motion expansions and the servo drives.
