Flexographic printer

-- Packaging Digest, 10/1/2007

Weighing approximately 200 lbs., the FlexPrint mini in-line flexographic printer has an 11.5311.5-in. footprint. Available with up to 600mm width and printing up to 50 cycles per minute, the co. says it is the smallest in-line flexographic printer available to medical device and pharmaceutical packagers. The unit has a self-contained inking system; a Teflon coated ink tray that is said to allow fast, easy ink changeover; and odorless ammonia-free inks. According to the co., the FlexPrint mini is designed to operate similar to its Servo FlexPrint line.
