Case erector

-- Packaging Digest, 1/1/2008

The co. introduces its Model 335 case erector, which gives packagers flexibility to erect and seal RSC, HSC and tab-lock cases. The case erector can erect and seal up to 35 cases/min and features intelligent machine control, providing accurate PLC/electronic control and supervision of operation. The variable speed drive automatically adjusts the machine to accommodate line fluctuations and maintain top productivity. The erector's tab-lock module is the key to quick changeover capability, as it operates to fold the tab-lock flaps smoothly and eliminates tab stress; when running other case styles, the cases simply bypass the tab-lock section to be erected and sealed as usual. The cases can be loaded at any time during the casing operation.
