Retractable handles

-- Packaging Digest, 1/1/2008

The co. now offers plastic, stepped, retractable handles with steel locking mechanisms in metric sizes that are appropriate for use when the handles must be withdrawn during automatic operations. The handles are pulled out of a tapered seating and then tilted, and a compression spring locks them in both upright and tilted positions. The stepped shape of the handles provides the operator with a better grip. The revolving hand piece is of black nylon plastic with a matte finish, while the spring-loaded retractable mechanism is steel with a black oxide finish.
