Packaging security

Linda Casey -- Packaging Digest, 4/16/2008

Security Essentials is a package of security features that can be integrated into the co.’s tear tape with the aim of giving brand owners a first step towards protecting their products against counterfeiting. Security Essentials features include overt and covert technologies, including micro-text print, fine line print, UV, color-shift inks, and holography. These technologies can be used individually or combined to provide a multi-layered security solution that is integrated into the tear tape.
