Spiral hose and couplings handle pressures to 6,000 psi with the tightest crimp seal and rugged corrosion resistance. These couplings feature a precision-machined internal ferrule that crimps and tightly locks into most spiral hoses for a secure, leak-resistant fit. Designed to eliminate leaks in hydraulic systems, these couplings are ideal for industrial and commercial applications including plant maintenance equipment. Field proven for both shock and vibration conditions, these hose and coupling systems are designed to handle sub-zero through high temperature applications, the co. says. The couplings feature a durable finish, and a RoHS-compliant finish that can withstand more than 400 hr of salt-spray testing. Tested under ISO 9227 and ASTMB117 salt-spray conditions, the new finish has an attractive, modern, silver appearance in addition to being durable and environmentally friendly, the co. states.
