General Mills, a leader in the Food Processing Industry, producing such brands as Cheerios, Progresso Soups and Yoplait Yogurt has outstanding career opportunities for Packaging Equipment/Systems Engineers at various plant locations. Duties will include packaging systems development, supporting capital projects as related to packaging equipment, optimization, systems design/performance, and construction management/ start-ups.  
 
Positions require a B.S.M.E. or Chem E. or related degree and 3+ years in packaging equipment engineering (continuous packaging systems applications) with emphasis on capital projects and equipment optimization. You should also have strong working knowledge of plant manufacturing, quality and R&D with emphasis on productivity and packaging systems. 
 
You further should have demonstrated strong leadership abilities and have excellent presentation skills.  Some travel may be required. General Mills offers an excellent compensation package including 401K, paid health benefits and vacation, and regular performance reviews.
