Valve offers smaller ports

-- Packaging Digest, 8/1/2008

Two new models in the L-O-X valve series feature smaller port sizes—¼ and 3/8 in.—for wider machine compatibility. The valve shuts off airflow and exhausts downstream air in equipment being serviced. It is said to meet four requirements found in some industry standards: ease of operation, with a simple push or pull; the ability to lock only in the “off” or blocking position; a full-sized exhaust port for rapid effect; and a means of verifying the removal of downstream air. The valve is designed to have equal pressure on both sides of the spool for reduced operator strain.Ross Controls, 248/764-1800.www.rosscontrols.com
