Beverage packaging: The inspirational power of beer

There’s always been quite a bit of creativity that goes into beer packaging, but lately I can’t help but feel like there’s a real renaissance blooming in the segment — seems like things are getting even more interesting than ever. Lots of quirky, creative, clever twists that grab one’s eye.

Maybe it’s a tighter world economy that’s forcing brewers to fight harder for everyone’s limited attention … and money.

Or maybe it’s because new materials are allowing creativity to blossom in ways that haven’t been seen before.

Or … maybe it’s just the magical power of this golden elixir that just inspires its devotees to trumpet its glories via clever embellishments.

Yep. I think I nailed it. Now I’d best go home and test that theory in an hour or so … over a nice cold one.
