Food packaging: Cupcake container improves life
Okay, that’s a pretty bold statement. But anyone who’s ever tried to carry a cupcake anywhere but directly to one’s mouth understands the dilemma I’m talking about here.
Let’s face it — a top-heavy dessert with a small base and lots of gooey frosting isn’t really the ideal thing to be hauling around in a car. I know that beat well — my vehicle’s interior has been coated several times over by frosting from my cupcake-loving four-year-old daughter.
So, I couldn’t help but be enthused when my friend in the office showed me this very cool little single-cupcake container.
No, it’s not a breakthrough in packaging. But my friend’s cupcake made it back in pristine condition, ready to manifest its sweet glories without half of it being stuck to the passenger seat
It reminded me how much just a well-thought-out, simple piece of packaging can really improve life.

You need to check out our single cake cupcake travel box for Billy's bakery in NYC. It's been viewed over 7k times on flickr and has been picked up by almost every packaging blog out there. It was a great piece to put together, and the best part of food packaging... are the samples!
our blog luxcrux . com has photos of it at the bottom of the design section.
