China Bevtek 2008, the International Beverage and Liquid Technology & Material Exhibition, has been launched by China International Exhibitions (CIE) in response to industry demand. Both end users and suppliers have long sought a high level international event for this dynamic high growth industry in the heart of the fastest growing beverage markets: Shanghai.
The China Beer Committee of the China Food Industry Association and the Shanghai Beverage Association were instrumental in the launch through their support and commitment to this project. Between them these associations represent nearly 700 enterprises, i.e. the bulk of the brewers, beverage manufacturers, equipment suppliers and retailers in the industry operating in China today.
CIE, members of Allworld Exhibitions, already organise the No 1 event for the processing and packaging industries in China, ProPak China, amongst their portfolio of world renowned events.
We know we can deliver the audience as at the last edition in July 2007 at ProPak China we attracted a total of 3,817 buyers who came in search of brewing, beverage and liquid processing and packaging technology and materials. A further specialist audience of 1,076 visitors attended from the liquid product manufacturing and supply sector. Additionally 193 delegates were present at the annual Beer Summit and various beverage seminars.
