According to a study from The Freedonia Group, U.S. demand for high visibility packaging is projected to expand 4 percent yearly to reach $8.5 billion in 2012. The study--High Visibility Packaging-- concludes that the high-visibility packaging segment will generate demand for 1.1 billion pounds of plastic resin. The three drivers behind this trend are low cost, market aesthetics and consumer convenience.
