Fanuc is an industry leader in all types of robots and robotic applications. It also showed the prettiest conveyor belt I have ever seen.

Look closely. There are four cartons on that conveyor. If you can’t see them, it is OK, they weren’t much easier to see in person at the show. They are different sizes, shapes, and orientations. Some have an angled top. We can’t see them but the Fanuc robot could. Its overhead 3D camera saw them and guided a robot arm, which picked them faultlessly. You will probably never have a conveyor like this. But if it can work under these impossible conditions, think how well it will do in more typical packaging applications.
