The Matrix X bagging machine-suitable for packaging coffee, baking and snack food, confectionery goods, prepared foods and other item-is designed to help companies maximize use of floor space while boosting production. The manufacturer reports that the machine offers the capacity of two machines (up to 250 bags per minute) into the same amount of floor space usually required for one 45-in-wide bagger. The equipment puts the components of two baggers with two augers into a single machine; according to the company, this enables users to mix and match runs to meet varying daily requirements. It also features a remote operator station with a spot-check weighing system, stainless- steel cantilevered frame, vacuum-pull belts, electronic servo motion control and Ethernet connectivity.
