ESS Technologies Hires New Packaging Automation Sales Pro

ESS Technologies Inc., provider of cartoning, case packing, and robotic palletizing solutions, has hired Wilken Benjamin II as West Coast regional sales engineer. His packaging engineering and capital project management will expand the reach and impact of the company’s packaging automation solutions.

In previous roles, Benjamin served as director of engineering at Woodland Foods and principal packaging equipment engineer at Rich Products. These roles imparted a specialized end-user perspective on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Benjamin says he looks forward to working with the ESS team to “drive innovation and deliver exceptional solutions.”

Benjamin's packaging automation will be “instrumental in helping us provide cutting-edge solutions to our clients,” adds Dan Schmidt, general manager of ESS. His hire also serves to advance ESS’ and parent Pacteon Group’s, goal to expand its presence in the health and beauty, pharmaceutical, and nutraceutical industries.
