Harmonic Drives
VLT low-harmonic drives are able to perform real-time analysis while actively imposing currents, as needed, to restore and ensure high-quality sine waves from a power-supply grid. The harmonic drives are available in power ranges from 132 to 630 kw (high overload), 160 to 710 kw (normal overload) and voltage ranges of 380 to 480 AC, 50 to 60 Hz. They meet IEEE519 recommendations, are available in an IP 21/NEMA1 or IP 54 (hybrid) enclosure, are UL-, cUL- and Ctick-listed and carry the CE mark. The harmonic drives are suitable for installations that are generator-powered, or that have generator backup power, soft power grids and grids with a limited excess power capacity.Danfoss, 800/432-6367.
