Long-running CIJ coder

The new Linx 7900 continuous inkjet coder offers remote monitoring from a smartphone and service intervals of up to 18 months or 9,000 hours. The systems's QuickSwitch software allows simple and accurate code changes using a bar code scanner. For increased uptime, the FullFlush system automatically cleans and dries the printhead and conduit at every shutdown. And the hermetically sealed printhead has no moving parts so there are no manual adjustments to make. Connectivity is provided via RS232, USB and Ethernet ports, as well as for two product detectors and a shaft encoder for easy installation with conveyors and other equipment. The Linx 7900 prints up to three lines of text, logos, bar codes and 2D Data Matrix codes, with a five-line upgrade available.
