PPT MX20 vision processorThe MX20 vision processor is designed to give operations an entry-level tool, supporting simple machine vision applications with up to two unique camera inspections. The device enables packaging operations to move from smart-camera applications to an embedded vision system, according to the manufacturer. The processor features a dual-core Intel processor and two independent Power over Ethernet camera ports; it reportedly can transmit distances up to 100 m from the processor to the camera. Additionally, the MX20 is said to be easy to deploy and support up to 2.0 megapixel area scan cameras for a wide range of flexible, robust inspection tasks. The included Impact v10.5 software supports the processor and includes a number of useful setup and measurement tools.
