The OpTech–O2® Platinum oxygen analyzer uses a fluorescence-based system to measure total beverage package integrity. The platinum “fluoresces” in an amount that is directly related to the amount of oxygen present in a package. This fluorescence can be read optically, for nondestructive permeation analysis, headspace and dissolved-oxygen analysis and leak determination. Also measures oxygen stability in distribution.
