PACK EXPO adds resources for pharmaceutical attendees

In addition to the focused exhibit area, PACK EXPO will provide a number of new resources and networking opportunities for a truly comprehensive show experience.

"North America is the largest market for the multi-billion dollar pharmaceutical industry," says PMMI President & CEO Charles D. Yuska. "It's critical that PACK EXPO Las Vegas, the most comprehensive packaging and processing show in North America, serve as a forum for pharmaceutical manufacturers to find solutions and innovations they need to enhance operational excellence, speed new product commercialization and stay up-to-date on regulations and guidelines shaping their industry's future."

Among the resources available to PACK EXPO Las Vegas attendees will be Conference at PACK EXPO education sessions focusing on a variety of topics of critical importance to the pharmaceutical industry, such as safety and security, product protection and anti-counterfeiting. A full list of topics and speakers will be available in the coming weeks.

Another new addition to PACK EXPO Las Vegas is the Pharmaceutical Lounge, a dedicated location on the show floor where pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers can network with peers and engage in further dialogue with suppliers. The Pharmaceutical Lounge will include an "Ask the Expert" feature, where attendees can seek advice from industry experts on specific packaging- and processing-related challenges.

These resources are components of PACK EXPO's mission make it as easy as possible for all attendees to find the solutions they need. The customer-centric approach also extends to the confectionery and bakery and snack markets.
