Packaging equipment: Laminator

The co.’s laminator enables the co. to run trials in a production-like setting and collaborate with customers to develop new products, optimize processes and address challenging problems with solvent-based, solvent-free and water-based laminating adhesives for flexible packaging, the co. states. The full production scale laminator is 52-in. wide and can run up to 1,300-ft of film/min. The 2-zone dryer makes it possible to run solvent-based and water-based laminating adhesives while the world mixer provides the ability to run solvent-free laminating adhesives. The laminator also has two Enercon corona treaters that ensure a strong adhesion to the films.
