Pneumatic conveyor

A specially-treated pneumatic conveying system automates the handling of high-corrosive granular material to minimize human exposure and optimize the upstream bulk bag unloading system. Process-critical components and valves are Teflon coated. Integrated automation—communication, monitoring and reporting—is controlled from a centralized system, using a single, UL-listed HMI. Dust-tight enclosures are NEMA 12 rated. Pneumatically conveyed material is transferred to the downstream wetting process, in batches, based on calls from weigh system sensors at a rate in excess of 9,500 pounds per hour.
